What should I do?
Hi, I made this web site back in 8/07 after leaving in rage my local mental health care center, The Guidance Center. www.poweredbyheart.com Their 'guidance' that they openly told me was that if I or a pregnant teenager was about to jump off a bridge, suicide, they would only think 'happy landing' and keep moving as if they saw anything or never heard a plea for help. I put out the web site because I had little faith in the compliant system. They know there really isn't much of one and feel free to abuse in any way at any time. Over a year ago I filed a complaint and to this day they are still just starting to look into only the way I was discharged and doesn't want to touch any more. Should I insist they do? What NYS or other places should I contact? I let The Guidance Center know about www.poweredbyheart.com over a year ago and heard nothing from them. No denying anything. No law suit. I think so far just from having the web site some people were treated better and maybe saved a life. Feel free to do the same. Thanks, Tim
